Job Overview:
Concur is looking for a Security and Technology Consultant (m/f) to join our expanding teams.
Focused on the technologies utilised to deliver Concur’s services and to protect customer and users’ data, the ideal candidate will be:

• Autonomous
• Able to work as a team to identify client technical and security related questions in order to address them
• Conversant with data security standards such as ISO27001, PCI DSS and ISAE3402/SOC1
• Providing guidance to prospects/customers about how Concur addresses the requirements of national data protection laws in the EU/EEA
• Experienced in enterprise architectures and effectively use this knowledge in presales processes
• Excellent communications skills for completing customer requests for information, technical and security questionnaires and other documents

Responsibilities:

• Participate in discovery sessions with prospects and customers to gather and understand their technical and functional requirements.
• Conduct presentations of Concur’s technical architecture, security, hosting operations and administrative tools to the prospect’s/customer’s project team; reinforce key selling messages and ensure delivery of messages to appropriate decision makers.
• Address to customers how Concur meets data privacy requirements from technical perspective
• Identify critical issues (mainly in data protection and technology/security) and assist assigned sales team in developing strategy for a total sales approach to a customer or prospect.
• Resolve Concur product solutions questions for prospect’s/customer’s technical liaisons; resolve prospect technical questions/issues and convince prospects/customers of Concur technology.
• Work with prospect’s/customer’s IT architects in presales processes in order to help designing secure and robust architectures for integration of Concur and relevant backend system(s).
• Provide detailed technical responses for Requests For Proposal and Requests For Information. Interface between Sales and Consulting to ensure prospect expectations are correctly set during the presales process and to transition the account to Consulting at appropriate time.
• Collect and disseminate product design, technology, and competitor information to Concur’s Product Marketing and Security&Compliance teams.
• May train and/or provide guidance to other Concur employees.
• May complete special projects such as competitive analysis, portal technology, etc.
• Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies.

Education, Experience & Training required:

• Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ relevant work experience
• MSCE, network design or IT security certifications helpful
• Current Know-How about relevant Data Protection Legislation
• Three or more years experience in SAP business application software and/or financials (Travel & Expense, Payables, General Accounting, Project Accounting) Solid knowledge of mobile and internet technologies and related security principles is expected, a CISSP certification is highly desired. If not certified, you will be asked to obtain this certification after employment
• Knowledge of middleware technologies and enterprise architectures is desirable
