Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries-Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Site Accreditation SSO for a position supporting a US Government customer at Ramstein AB (Kaiserslautern), Germany. The Site Accreditation SSO will serve as the on-site expertise for assessment, authorization, and continuous accreditation monitoring of US government systems, networks, and facilities.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Designs, tests, and implements state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database products.
  • Conducts risk assessment and provides recommendations for application design. Involved in a wide range of security issues including architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access.
  • Uses encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research.
  • Prepare security reports to regulatory agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 1 year experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; applicants with10+ total years in Information Assurance (IA) and Information Technology security fields will also be considered.
  • Experience in IA and Compliance Assessment and Reporting.
  • A mission oriented, team focused approach to supporting our customer.
  • The ability to think, operate, and execute autonomously or as part of a small team.
  • Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI
Preferred Requirements
  • Strong familiarity and recent experience with the XACTA platform (cyber risk management and compliance).
  • Recent experience as an ISSO, ISSE, or Cyber Security specialist.
  • Prior work history involving USG or DoD customers and programs.
  • A willingness to continue learning and improving, sometimes in the context of assuming new responsibilities or duties.
  • A desire to teach, coach, and mentor supported individuals and teams.
Physical Requirements

Job performance requires adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of a Systems Analyst discipline. Office work environment normally encountered. Occassional travel is required in support of this effort.
