To find out more about us check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baa_aiJ4L7EAs the Supplier Development Program Lead you will ensure Supplier Development Execution (SDE) for Global eMobility focused on the Breaktor and Industrial Fuses projects. You will be accountable for the SDE functional performance as integral part of the program team. You will work with other key functions to execute program launches through disciplined APQP and PPAP on-time approval, leveraging and coordinating Global and regional Supplier Development teams; applying proactive activities and lessons learned through the utilization of policies, procedures and tools ensuring alignment to our business and customer requirements.This position is remote home based in any of the following countries: Poland, Czech Republic, Germany or Hungary. 50% travelling to the customer sites will be required.Your Main ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with the global SDE teams to identify, qualify, and manage parts and components development utilizing a highly capable supply base and drive the utilization of preventive / corrective improvement projects using quality systems, tools and processes to achieve the performance goals of eMobilityAssessing global and regional staffing needs providing guidance and recommendations to ensure that SDE capacity and capabilities are in place to support the business and program requirements.
  • Supporting building functional excellence and organizational capability by incorporating global and regional commodity/process expertise
  • Executing standards and deploys Eaton’s supplier quality and development policies, procedures and tools
  • Working cross-functionally with Program Management, SCM, Quality, Product Engineering and Operations to ensure supplier sourcing, development, launch and on-going performance meet defined targets of each program and overall business needs
  • Monitoring supplier APQP/PPAP and Flawless Launch performance addressing proactively performance gaps through defined actions and recovery plans
  • Conducting periodical deployment checks to evaluate the effectiveness of Supplier Development activities and makes recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Traveling to supplier locations as necessary, providing technical leadership and communication back to the program and product line
QualificationsYour essential skills we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Quality or Operations Management or similar
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing / operation in one of the following disciplines: Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing or Program Management
  • Working knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001:2008 (ISO 9001:2016), ISO/TS16949 (IATF 16949:2016)Automotive background is desirable
  • Fluency in English. Another European language would be a plus.
