As a Senior Real Estate Manager you will support Zalando’s ambitious logistics network expansion throughout Europe. Search for suitable logistic properties, secure the selected sites, drive the entire acquisition and pre-development process.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

  • Execute complex build-to-suit transactions from the initial strategic idea to the conclusion of lease agreements and other commercial agreements
  • Interact with external stakeholders such as public authorities, landowners, logistics real estate developers, investors or brokers both during project execution and on proactive basis to identify new opportunities on the European logistics real estate market
  • Collaborate closely with various Zalando teams to ensure the best possible commercial terms and that all commercial agreements reflect our internal requirements during planning, construction and operational phases
  • good understanding of our logistics portfolio that will soon reach more than 1.5m sqm, and have an overview of the key legal and commercial terms for each property in the portfolio assigned to you

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Strong professional experience in acquisition and disposition of real estate assets and/or commercial real estate transaction management, ideally with focus on logistics properties
  • Degree in the fields of real estate management / business administration / law or a comparable qualification
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets and trends
  • Very good level of negotiation and communication skills, fluency in German and English is needed
