Aufgaben
The Network Deployment team is located in the Network, Technology & IT (CTIO) unit and is responsible to carry out the deployment of the fiber network, which is the main and fundamental objective of our Company. This very dynamic team leads the strong ecosystem we have created with our partners (construction companies, technical office companies) to make the most efficient and effective team deploying fiber in Germany. In our team we are putting together a new way to build fiber networks in Germany, with all contributions from our enthusiastic and talented people.
In this position it is required expertise in civil works in regards of engineering, regulation and advance technical knowledge. Knowledge of telecommunication networks and fiber network deployment is a plus.
Lead in technical aspects regarding civil engineering expertise and supporting the rest of the organization and ecosystem in:
- Interpretation and implementation of regulation requirements, creating and communicating the required associated normative.
- Technical normative for construction and its application in fiber network deployment. Continuous review and adaptation.
- Propose technical improvement initiatives for improvement and/or testing of new techniques.
- Support to quality, inventory and any other need contributing with the technical civil works expertise.
- Define and implement the processes, ie normative, recommendations, etc.
- Define process KPIs and how to monitor them and implement continuous improvement.
- Drive the recommendations about IT systems related to the activity: tools recommendations and specifications, automation, digitalization and mobilization of the activity.
- Update the process and normative to latest regulation or industry references.
- Quality certification.
- Project and initiatives proposals to the Management regarding trialing new solutions opportunities or improvements.
- Contribution to the reports to the top management.
- Lead in each of the specializations the complete ecosystem of partners.
- Teamwork with the rest of the teams in other areas in UGG. Leading and contributing with our technical view and experience.
- Provide double focus technical + business view.
- Engineering degree or equivalent business experience.
- Advanced level in Technical Project Management.
- Advanced level of knowledge of the processes of deployment and installation.
- Proven multi-year experience in comparable positions, ideally in the telecommunications, utilities, or infrastructure industry.
- Very well structured, attentive to details and excellent analytical, numerical, and conceptual skills.
- Strong communication skills and a passionate team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Ability to present complex and technical issues in a comprehensible way.
- Self-motivated with a high level of proactivity and flexibility.
- Knowledge of all common MS Office applications, especially Excel. Experience with tools used in network deployments: workflow, mapping, etc are a plus.
- Experience with ERP (SAP) tools are a plus.
