Summary

The (Senior) DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (f/m/d) for SAP’s AI platform is responsible for shaping existing and defining new DevOps, SRE and QA processes and tooling within a platform development team.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a software engineer (f/m/d) with DevOps and quality assurance mindset, and with experience in bridging development and operations.

Your Tasks Would Include

It is expected that you grow to take technical ownership of your deliverables, including engineering and architectural aspects.

• Develop CI and CD pipelines and tooling for platform delivery on all major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Write Kubernetes operators for automating hardware-accelerated infrastructure for ML (GPUs, TPUs)
• Establish and roll out Site Reliability Engineering processes
• Innovate quality assurance tooling and processes
• Work in a diverse team practicing agile development and DevOps culture
  

Education And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent education
• Minimum of 2 years of professional working experience in a DevOps/SRE/QA role
• Coding proficiency in one or more of Python, Go, Java, or C++
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, Istio, Argo, Docker
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines and processes (Jenkins, xMake, Helm, GitOps, Spinnaker)
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Test-driven development attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player
• Getting things done mindset
• Fluent in English oral and written and good German language skills oral and written
