We are looking for
The Product Manager (m/f/d) Clinical Workflow will focus on delivering efficient and user friendly acquisition methods, data visualization, analysis and reporting of ophthalmic data. This comes in three stages – optimizing this for Heidelberg Engineering devices, optimizing and combining this between Heidelberg Engineering products devices and also optimizing this for third party devices.
Your Responsibilities
- Focusing on clinical workflows and their integration into the products usability to optimize clinical workflows
- Generate, incorporate and consolidate early market requirements and feedback from ophthalmic professionals in the usability engineering process for the products
- Context interviews with ophthalmic professionals, evaluation and documentation
- Close collaboration and incorporation of feedback from other product managers in the team and of the Product Management Group members
- Close collaboration with usability engineers from risk management
- Prioritization of roadmap items to plan and execute early evaluations
- Have a degree in science or technology or comparable education including relevant work experience
- In depth knowledge of human-machine interaction and IEC 62366
- Knowledge of DIN USABILITY and accompanying usability guidance documents
- Have min. of 5 years experience in the application of in-depth medical device knowledge to development of clinical evaluation reports
- Have excellent English medical/scientific writing skills and German verbal communication skills
- Have proficiency in word processing tools, spreadsheets, and/or database applications (e.g., MS Word and Excel)
- Have process improvement and project management skills
- Have the ability to achieve objectives and milestones through identification and implementation of work plans and measurements
- Demonstrate expertise in partnering with external partners in ophthalmology as well as internal stakeholders across departments
- Demonstrate the ability to develop solutions to complex problems and ensure that solutions are consistent with objectives
- Ability to quickly familiarize with the function and clinical application of products
- Have the ability to identify and adapt to shifting priorities and competing demands
- High attention to detail and accuracy
