Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading our sales operations, focusing on new and used car sales to our customers. You will have full responsibility to implement the sales process, manage the sales team and deliver the volume expected in a very qualitative and professional way.

He/she will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of store managers, specifically in matters related to sales and delivery. His/her role will involve serving as the direct point of contact for store managers, providing guidance, support, and supervision in all aspects of sales and delivery operations. He/she will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of sales processes, coordinating with store managers to achieve sales targets, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. His/her expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving sales performance, optimizing delivery processes, and fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment within the sales team.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets
  • Manage Store Managers, serving as a direct point of contact for sales-related matters
  • Oversee the sales process, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and improve sales outcomes
  • Manage the order book/pipeline, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders
  • Collaborate with various internal teams, such as marketing, inventory management to support sales initiatives and maximize sales opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities
  • Conduct regular sales meetings and provide training to the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service
  • Implement and maintain effective sales reporting systems, tracking KPIs, and providing regular performance reports to management
  • Prepare the monthly sales forecast for production, Incoming orders and retails and develop a consistent sales administration process and follow up.
  • Follow the daily incoming order trend and put in place actions to develop it
  • Work closely with logistic and delivery teams to assure excellent customer experience
  • Support KAM / fleet team in order to perform in the country
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in sales & sales management, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Solid understanding of sales processes and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and achieve targets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and sales management software
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred)
  • German native, English business fluent. Driver licence.
Additional Requirements:
  • Direct experience in new and used car sales to retail customers (B2C & B2B)
  • Knowledge of delivery processes and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Familiarity with stock car sales and inventory management
  • Proven ability to effectively manage KPIs and drive performance improvements
