WHAT YOU’LL DO


The ongoing professional development of our consultants is very important to us at BCG. As a dynamic and highly organized Learning & Development Coordinator, you and your team will be part of an internal service department working at the highest standards in terms of organization and content to support our consultants with training and coaching opportunities throughout their careers at BCG.

You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and supporting the training measures for our consultants throughout Germany. You will also join them on site (generally on one-week assignments), providing organizational support to the team of internal and external trainers as well as the participants. You’ll organize training agendas and ensure frictionless travel planning for participants while keeping an eye on registrations and cancellations in our software system SABA. In addition, you’ll manage the feedback process, prepare feedback analyses, identify need for action, and make suggestions for optimization. By using existing hotel comparisons and ratings and requesting offers and cost estimates, you will ensure an optimal selection of training locations, hotels, and event agencies. You will also be responsible for checking invoices and independently performing the monthly budget controlling, preparing meaningful statistics and reports for that purpose. Your affinity for data will enable you to enter, process, and manage data in our database, in PowerPoint, and in Excel, and to support the preparation of presentations. You’ll also act as the interface to other internal departments (such as Recruiting) and work on various internal projects.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • You have successfully completed either professional training, ideally in event management or the hotel business, or a bachelor’s degree.
  • You also have two to four years of professional experience in the field of hotel or event management.
  • You are proficient in MS Office software, especially Excel.
  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English language skills.


YOU’LL WORK WITH


You will be part of a highly motivated nine-member team comprised of other Learning & Development Coordinators and coworkers who develop L&D content. Our team’s collaboration is characterized by respect, acceptance, and mutual trust. In addition, you will collaborate closely with the European and Global Learning & Development teams as well as local HR teams (especially with the Recruiting Team and Talent Management Unit). Interfacing with them will give you interesting insight into the work of all Learning & Development and HR areas. You’ll report to the Head of Learning & Development, who will be there for you during your orientation phase and support you in your professional development.
