(Junior) Finance Manager with Focus on Data/BI (m/f/d)

After break-even in 2019 and massive growth with SDAX listing in 2020/21, home24 has just announced the goal to reach 1bn Euro in sales by the end of 2023. As the Finance team, we are focused on enabling this growth through effective Corporate Finance, FP&A, Treasury and Investor Relations. To achieve this with a compact team, we are becoming data-driven and automating wherever possible. If you are eager to drive this journey on the interface between Finance and Data, this position is for you.

• Together with the Finance team, you own and shape the vision, roadmap and backlog for data products used by Finance (e.g. data sources, dashboards, analytical models)
• You work closely with stakeholders across the company to identify requirements and priorities
• You develop a detailed understanding of our Finance processes and systems (in particular SAP ERP), so that you can break down complex topics and translate them into specifications for the engineers in your team
• You challenge and validate what is being built by data analysts and engineers, also ensuring wide usability through documentation, SLAs and lifecycle management
• You support the development team in executing an agile development process
• You communicate to end users about the data products, coach them on their usage and are always the first point of contact
• You work with Tableau and SQL to create analyses and dashboards
• You engage in Finance tasks such as FP&A, always focusing on making them as data-driven and automated as possible

• Academic degree from a top university or business school
• Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Applications from recent graduates are welcome. Previous work experience in e.g. Finance, Product Management or Business Analysis is a plus
• Very good knowledge of MS-Office/G-suite. Knowledge of Tableau, SQL and SAP is a plus
• Exceptional communication skills (in English)
• Tech savvy. A basic understanding of software and data engineering is a plus
