We are currently working with a Global E-Commerce Software company who are growing their teams in Germany looking for Java Software Engineers to join their Dortmund office.

They are part of an international group of companies, with over 2200 employees spread across the globe. They are the leading E-commerce solution providers for some of the largest brands in the world such as Adidas, Airbus, Heineken, G-star, Miele,and many more.

They are looking for someone with strong experience in as a Java Software Engineer to build scalable Cloud native applications using one of the most powerful platforms currently available.

About the role:

• Design and construct Java application which are deployed used the latest cloud technologies
• You’ll work in team alongside other inspired Java software engineers dedicated to delivering high quality results
• Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
• Contribute in the design and outlining of Java solutions collaborating with the Analysts, Technical Leads, UI Designers, UX-designers and Architects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Software Development.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience with Java
• Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
• Passion for writing clean code and use of best practices
• Experience working on Agile/SCRUM development
• Experience of using user centric design and applying User Experience concepts
• Experience or exposure to Ecommerce platforms is desirable i.e. SAP (Hybris), Informatica, Stibo, Contentserv etc.
• Experience of using Spring Boot, JUnit, Tomcat, SQL, GIT, OO, Soap and REST Webservices.
• Basic knowledge of Front-End like JavaScript (AJAX, jQuery, Angular, React), HTML, CSS, JSP, XML. Firebug and/or JSLint.
• You speak German fluently, with a professional level English
