As part of the Amadeus Leisure Packaging team, you’ll help build the technology that powers holiday travel in the world’s leading travel markets. At this critical time for travel, you’ll have the chance to:

• Develop code used by the world’s leading tour operators and travel agencies
• Ensure rock-solid performance and reliability in a complex technical environment
• Drive the evolution of travel by building the next generation of leisure travel solutions
• Help get the world moving again, in the sector that will recover from the crisis first: leisure

Summary of the role:

• As Java Developer, you will be part of a self-organizing SCRUM team that is shaping the future of travel.
• You strive for clean code of high quality, automated testing assures the quality of your work.
• You make full use of our CI/CD environment, using GIT, Maven, Artifactory and Jenkins to bring value to our customers quick and often.
• Together with your team, you take responsibility for a product in a DevOps cultural way and make sure that your product runs smoothly for our customers in our data center on Linux based servers.
• You join in driving architectural change towards a simplified service-oriented platform.

• Operational responsibility does not make you shy away but encourages you to build high quality solutions for our customers.
• You are a pro-active team player and enjoy taking over responsibility in an agile, self-organized environment.
• You bring at least a basic level of database knowledge (relational or non-relational).
• You ideally have been working with either Spring Boot or Java EE.
• Docker / Docker Swarm / Kubernetes experience is a bonus and will help us future proofing our products.
• As an international company, we expect you to be comfortable in a multicultural environment and good communication skills in both, German and English.
