Internal Audit Specialist (m/f/x) - Contractor

• Conduct IAs to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies (including the IT security policy)
• Draft an internal audit charter
• Develop & implement internal audit plans and procedures
• Analyze financial & operational data to identify risks and evaluate controls
• Communicate findings and recommendations to management and provide support in implementing improvements
• Keep up to date with industry developments and regulatory changes affecting the organization
• Evaluate reporting processes for effectiveness and how they support business goals

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in internal auditing or a related field
• Knowledge of internal audit processes, standards, and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

It would be a plus if you also:

• Fin-Tech experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Dutch regulations and accounting standards
