ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Air Gateway agent will process and close MAWB for consolidations and B2B AWB’s.
Ensure that file contains all necessary documents and copies are in proper sequence.
To do what it takes to meet and exceed Internal and External customers’ defined needs and expectations.
Book space with carriers.
Ensure all MAWBs are rated correctly.
Obtain spot codes on all special negotiated rates with carriers.
Track AWB and provide COB information to the respective branches.
Research on all CCA, weight and rate discrepancies sent by carriers.
Filing of files.
Perform other duties as needed or requested.
Responsible of statistics and KPI´s of operational performance in the hub
Responsible for space optimization and best in class costing with 3rd party cargo handling agent.
Supervise and organize pallet build up and improve quality of all involved parties.
Responsible for general cargo and special load shipments on JAS Charter and commercial uplift
To support initiatives to further improve Consol benefit (cargo mix, yield management, etc.) and actively assist on JAS own Network expansion.
To Work in accordance with the compliance rules and policy
Relation with customers and Carriers
Shift duties during weekend

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
Detail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently.
Able to perform the essential duties of this position without posing a “direct threat” to the health or safety of self or others.
Able to interact positively and effectively with co-workers, subordinates, and supervisors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
good written and oral communication skills in English and German
