As a Field Service Technician in the field of analytical technology, you will be responsible for performing commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance for our products and systems at the customer’s site.

Your hands-on experience and knowledge of customer needs will help you build strong customer relationships. You will also actively identify and develop new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities
  • Commissioning of analysis, measurement and control equipment as well as process engineering systems.
  • Installation of the hardware, import of the software, execution of the parameterizations and function tests plus the necessary documentation
  • Creation and coordination of customer-specific maintenance and system check plans as well as the execution of maintenance on site at the customer’s premises
  • Troubleshooting: analyzing the cause of the fault on site at the ABB customer and rectifying the fault. In this context, you will develop proposals for increasing system availability and conduct the final discussion with the customer
Your background
  • Completed electrotechnical or comparable technical training with several years of professional experience as a technician / foreman
  • Fluent written and spoken German, good English skills
  • Independent and service-oriented action, flexibility as well as the ability to set customer-oriented priorities
  • Class B driving license
  • High willingness to travel supplemented by on-call duty
