Your tasks

To support our ambitious growth, we are looking for motivated Dispatchers / Transport Managers (m/f/d) to join our International Transport team in Berlin. Above all, we are looking for dedicated rock stars who want to put their (and our) PS on the road and go the extra mile to do so.

Our Full Charter team is responsible for chartering our own fleet and purchasing transport capacities on our international routes. Depending on your interests and background, you will be entrusted with the following tasks in different areas of our Operations team:
  • You get our loads on the road! You will be responsible for the entire process - from chartering of our permanent carriers, purchasing of freight capacities, to quality control and handover to settlement
  • During the transport you will be the contact person for all parties involved (e.g. carriers, customers, loading and unloading points, etc.) and in case of complications you will independently find solutions
  • In the process of transport management, you will get to know new carriers with the aim of establishing a partnership in order to secure long-term capacities for our transports
  • You continuously look out for opportunities to digitize and improve our processes and the productivity of yourself, your team and the entire Operations department and present those propositions to the Product team
  • In close cooperation with our Sales department, you develop solutions and concepts to handle our customer requests for our international customers
Your Profile
  • You are an open and communicative person who convinces our partners of the InstaFreight vision and acts internally as an ambassador for our long-term goals
  • You start and drive operational work steps as well as larger projects, independently and involve all relevant parties in the process
  • You feel comfortable in the startup environment, are hands-on, work in an agile way and stay focused and committed even in a stressful environment
  • You have already gained work experience in the area of dispatching own vehicle fleets, ideally on the relation Germany and Italy / Spain / France / Benelux
  • You are fluent in German and English - other languages are an advantage
