You will be joining a group of dedicated team members that are fully focused on maintaining and supporting our i.s.h.med solution for our world-wide clients. This team is responsible for the support and maintenance of our core EMR product as well as ensuring market compliance in Austria and Germany with products specific to those key markets. This role will work across the business to ensure client needs are understood and met.

The primary responsibilities of this job align to the customer support and product maintenance for our core i.s.h.med EMR platform as well as the ancillary products that are unique to the German and Austrian markets. Your team will be responsible for ensuring timely support to end-users. You will also provide both product strategy as well as manage development resources to ensure market needs are met in compliance with Cerner’s Product Lifecycle Management and Product Development Processes. Your team will be developing not only core products, but will re responsible for developing complete workflows on top of our core EMR that are specific to Germany and Austria. Your team will also be responsible for a team that is focused on continuously monitoring and improving performance of the products for our clients. You will regulatory report to key stakeholders on product support and development progress and will manage your team members to ensure their current and future success as well as deliver high quality and on-time product deliveries for our clients.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Successfully completed training or equivalent professional work experience
  • Several years of experience within healthcare information technology (HCIT)
  • Fluent in German and English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with and strong understanding of the German health system and hospital structure
  • Experience supporting or developing the i.s.h.med product
  • Experience working with agile development principles
  • Several years of management experience
Expectations:
  • Deomonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts and escalations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work in a matrix organization where stakeholder management is necessary
  • Willingness to work with and develop their team members to greater skill and proficiency
  • Able to effectively operate in times of uncertainty and ambiguity
  • Willing to perform other duties as assigned
  • Ability to travel as needed (no more than 20% of their time)
