Description And Requirements

You will be responsible for driving the Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) marketing activities for Lenovo in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). you will be part of the regional leadership team and the EMEA marketing organization and will be accountable for increasing the awareness and driving demand for Lenovo infrastructure solutionssolutions (i.e. servers, storage, networking solutions) in the respective markets.

The job location can be either Stuttgart (where Lenovo office is located), or a home office setup around south Germany, travelling to Stuttgart ad/hoc as needed.

You will own the ISG Marketing plans integrating Lenovo global strategy into the local marketing requirements. You will focus on managing the Brand and Communication marketing activities in the country to introduce Lenovo Infrastructure Solutions to end customers and to and through Lenovo Channel partners. You will also set up and drive the marketing programs to end customers, from large accounts to small medium business and manage Business Partner programs and Business Partner co-marketing activities.

You will report to the ISG Marketing EMEA Leader and dotted line to the ISG Regional Business Leaders for the respective markets. You will interact with the sales teams addressing customers as well as channel sales teams to define the local programs needed to develop the Lenovo brand. You will have the support from the EMEA marketing organization to build the strategy and execute the plans.

This role will require high levels of autonomy, pro-activity, creativity, strategic rigour and an ability to think and act fast and be proactive and responsive. We would expect you to define the local marketing programs and build the local, market and international network to execute the programs according to country requirements.

What You will do:
  • Develop Digital and Social media activities aimed to reinforce Lenovo brand in the Infrastructure Solutions market.
  • Support communication and PR programs, in the traditional and digital space.
  • Develop Lead generating Marketing programs for End customers - Large to SMB. Cooperate closely with local Sales teams to drive measurable revenue outcomes of marketing activities.
  • Set up and coordinate digital events/webinar programs (both Channel and End-User oriented)
  • Coordinate Channel marketing programs and activities - enablement, channel comarketing, promotions / demand generation.
  • Develop relationship with our strategic Alliances Partners at local level and develop joint marketing programs
  • Support EMEA organization in the execution of pan-EMEA activities - events, study tours, case studies, references
  • Provide clear feedback to EMEA marketing team on key programmes, initiatives, share best-practise, ideas and priorities.
  • Create and maintain strong partnership with local Sales organization, clearly articulate our marketing strategy and value added, while supporting Sales efforts.
  • Own the marketing budget for the region and ensure due diligence in meeting deadlines, updating budget management systems and ensure joint planning with alliance partners, as well as ensuring that budgets are kept.

What You will bring (position requirements):
  • B2B marketing experience, preferably in the IT Enterprise industry (5+ years of experience in B2B marketing B2B)
  • Regional knowledge of the German IT market, Channel and Enterprise customer environment.
  • Keeping up with the latest news & trends in the Enterprise tech industry
  • Good communication and presentation skills. Ability to interact with and influence executives and senior managers.
  • Ability to analyse and present results at senior level, aligned to business objectives
  • Ability to partner and successfully collaborate with product and sales teams, distributors, business partners and 3rd-party vendors. Ability to work locally, but also within EMEA virtual team
  • Experience in creating and implementing campaigns to improve Brand awareness and consideration, or Brand reputation.
  • Experience in creating and implementing lead generating marketing campaigns, liaise with Sales teams to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience in managing Channel marketing activities
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets - planning, expense control, reporting.
  • Fluency in English. Native German speaker. While Lenovo office is located in Stuttgart, the candidate can be based in elsewhere in south Germany with a home office setup, travelling to Stuttgart ad/hoc as needed.
  • Good command of MS Office, especially Excel
  • Structured and detail oriented to drive multiple projects at once
