One of the objectives within the IT Service Management team is to develop a state of the art Enterprise Service Management toolset (Cherwell) supporting corporate functions (Technology, Finance, HR, Facilities, Logistics, ...) in the day to day activities. Additionally, we are developping automation processess to reduce the manual intervention.

The Competency Lead will be responsible to manage the team focusing on the these activities ( Cherwell development and automation processes).

Your tasks
  • Manage the team supporting Cherwell development and projects automating IT processes
  • Work to develop strategic plans and vision for the standardisation of the ESM Tool Environment, this includes short and long term strategic planning and service improvements
  • Be a liaison between the organisation and the Third Party Tool Vendor. Identify upcoming trends and innovations, translating this into recommendations and ideas for improving the Managed Service Environments
  • Develop applications for the continuous improvement and automation of diverse business processes and build interfaces to various IT systems. (via Web Services and other protocols)
  • Actively contribute your ideas and experience to the development of solution concepts
  • Works with the Product/Support teams and aligning how to automate tasks which must be handled manually or with a lot of analyzes
Requirements
  • German and English (other also welcome)
  • Several years of experience in IT support (IT Service Management, IT Service Desk)
  • Several years of experience in managing teams
  • International project management experience
  • Desired Knowledge of databases (MS SQL/MySql/Oracle)
  • Knowledge in jira, confluence and office products
