Cloud & DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the development and continuous optimization of our Azure based cloud deployment platform and tools for multiple digital services of the Vaillant Group
You will closely work with development teams to understand and implement their requirements for advanced infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling
You will enable and inspire agile product DevOps teams to increase quality, security and time to market by providing reliable and easy to use self-service tools
You will ensure the stability of the of the cloud-based services by implementing required monitoring, alerting and self-healing automation
You will support the IT management by implementing reporting facilities for cloud cost and SLA monitoring

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

You have proven experience in the use of virtualized Azure infrastructure - including networks, compute and storage
You are familiar with git driven infrastructure provisioning using tools like ansible, terraform, pulumi, argoCD or similar
You have complementary skills in the programming of deployment scripts and tools, e.g. in Python - including the implementation of tests for CI/CD tools
Additional knowledge about kubernetes configuration and provisioning (e.g. using helm) is a plus
You have very good analytical and communication skills and a structured way of working, combined with a high degree of initiative and motivation
Your business-fluent English skills and your open and trustworthy personality enable you to communicate confidently with developers and product owners, business-fluent German is a plus
