Senior Accountant IFRS (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a member of a groupwide “Center of Competence” for IFRS Accounting you independently run the operative and transactional accounting and financial closing for defined legal entities of Vaillant Group.
You assess and post all business transactions in the General and Fixed Asset Ledger of SAP according to IFRS within the framework of Vaillant Group’s Accounting Manual
You prepare IFRS month- and year-end closes and report Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement and Notes into the consolidation system (SAP ECCS)
You support us in defining, standardizing and supervising international, cross-company processes within Vaillant Group focusing on efficient and safe accounting treatment in a groupwide harmonized SAP-system
As a Record-to-Report subject matter expert you actively contribute to optimzing and rolling-out Vaillant‘s new accounting platform under SAP S/4 HANA as part of a groupwide digitalization project
You deliver qualified input and best-practice experience to define guidelines and instructions and to harmonize accounting processes across Vaillant Group
You act as competent and reliable contact person for our international customers in the local finance teams of Vaillant Group and towards our internal and external Auditors

WHAT YOU BRING ALONG

You have completed your Bachelor Studies with specialization in area of Finance/Accounting/Controlling, a training as qualified accountant / Bilanzbuchhalter (m/f/d) or bring proven job experience in this field
You have routine experience in using MS Office applications and running SAP-modules FI, CO and AM
Fluent English skills enable you to effectively communicate with our international Finance customers (skills in additional European language are beneficial)
Customer orientation, enthusiasm for the job and good communication & presentation skills round off your profile
