YOUR ROLE

  • Work together with a highly motivated team developing innovative products for the E-Mobility market
  • Create product specifications in cross-functional teams for assembly, protection & thermal management of batteries
  • Develop and execute a product & technology roadmap based on the above defined requirements
  • Bring disruptive, feasible ideas and technologies into the company’s product development teams targeting battery applications in the automotive industry
  • Identify future trends and propose directions in battery system technology development
  • Drive scouting for the expansion of existing product portfolio through partnerships or acquisitions for future industry needs

YOUR SKILLS

  • Master or PhD in Material Science, Chemistry, Physics or similar
  • Profound knowledge in the areas of battery cells, cell components, battery materials and battery systems
  • Strong technical expertise with several years of industry and/or research experience in batteries, ideally in automotive and/or aerospace
  • Broad knowledge of current state of the art materials, cell performance, cost and trends in research & development
  • Ability to take the initiative and high degree of flexibility
  • Above-average team spirit and enjoyment in an agile working environment
  • Ability to analyze and understand complex contexts in detail and to communicate in a way that is appropriate for the target audience
  • Fluent English language skills, German is advantageous
