Mobility Business Strategist (m/f/d)
We Want You To
- Assess internal and external business landscape, develop feasible strategies, and rollout roadmap for creating new businesses, to accelerate HME’s transition towards smart mobility provider.
- With the focus on business development in new mobility areas such as MaaS, last-mile solutions, on-demand mobility, sharing economy, pay-per-use mobility models, and fleet business:
- identify, evaluate, and design enablement plan to exploit opportunities
- leveraging differentiated capabilities into new and growing end markets
- lead the next phase of future business enablement, collaborating with the team to develop and further crystallize the overall product, service vision and strategy
- be the commercial architect of success for new projects/ initiatives/ roadmap/ partnerships and facilitate incubation of future Smart Mobility Services
- identify priority areas of value capture in the smart mobility service market, structuring the team to deliver upon them, and driving pace and excellence in execution.
- work with the executive team to develop, gain support for, communicate and execute a vision and strategy for the continued progress and growth of Future Business topics/ initiatives/ projects.
- Identify and recommend business metrics with which to measure products and services success
- Credibly and compellingly represent the company externally to customers and partners.
- Champion Hyundai’s mission and future business strategy, acting as the “central point of liaison” for new mobility business related topics in Europe.
With your sound knowledge of the mobility start-up entrepreneurial community and, you are comfortable dealing with complex projects in ambiguous contexts
and you remain focused in spite of unexpected challenges continually seeking a path forward.

You’ll Also Need
- High level of business acumen and strategy activation or consultative expertise
- Existing network with the smart mobility community, municipal governments, transportation policymakers, technology providers and public and private sector transportation operators
- Experience working with data and comfort performing data analysis to arrive at predictive conclusions
- Experience working laterally across multiple business projects simultaneously
- Strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis - able to translate strategic plans into executable actions
- Track record of delivering repeatable, efficient customer success programs.
- Experience of building teams, processes, systems, metrics and operations required to support rapid, repeatable new business incubation and value delivery.
- to be an intuitive communicator and natural relationship-builder
- a record of achievement in the Sales, Business Development, or Consulting space, and enjoy leading growth-focused initiatives.
- Graduate Degree with focus on engineering, business, operations management, computer science and/or a related discipline
- 10 + years of relevant professional experience in smart mobility and/or automotive industry
- 5+ years of relevant experience in fleet management, MaaS, car sharing, ride hailing, on-demand mobility, eCommerce, or CaaS
- Progressive experience designing proof of concept testing and launching new products or services in market
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Second language fluency in German, Spanish, or French a plus
