At Evotec’s headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, the Global Finance PMO team is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Manager Strategic Projects & Valuation (all genders)
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute deal-related projects as well as strategic projects related to growth and resource allocation
  • Financial evaluation of potential M&A transactions by creating state of the art financial models incl. deal valuation
  • Valuation of minority investments (early-stage companies in the Pharma & Biotech space)
  • Financial modelling and valuation for financial reporting purposes (impairment testing, PPAs)
  • Financial evaluation of strategic initiatives (e.g. NPV / ROI calculations for larger investments)
  • Preparation of standard financial models and related policies
Ideal Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Finance or Economics
  • At least 3 years experience in deals consulting / transaction services or in a corporate M&A context
  • Deep financial modelling expertise as well as knowledge of valuation methods and corporate finance concepts
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and related Data & Analytics tools
  • Good understanding of Accounting rules and IFRS standards
  • Experience in a stock-listed company and knowledge of SOX requirements
  • First experience in leading projects and knowledge of project management methods
  • Experience in working in an international context
  • Ideally experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry
  • Target-driven teamplayer with the ability to work independently
