Purpose & Overall Relevance To The Organisation
  • Develop, optimise, execute and sustain the Cluster Central sales development strategy that builds on European and global sales concepts and policies.
  • Strengthen sales by developing or improving local concepts, processes, systems and tools with a focus on efficiency and effectiveness and in the spirit of "Own the Game".
  • Act as a central coordinating point for all sales development activities and knowledge pool for sales within the local as well as for the European and global organisation.
  • Support profitable wholesale market share growth through the implementation of best practices and key sales initiatives
Responsibilities
  • Optimise, implement and further develop Global Wholesale initiatives.
  • Ensure achievement of intermediate targets for Cluster Central e.g.:
  • Trade Terms Excellence
  • KAM & Field Excellence
  • Sell Out Excellence
  • Future Sell-In
  • E-Com
  • Customer & Range Segmentation
  • Ebay
  • PEAK
  • Coordination and active development of cross-departmental sales development projects, e.g:
  • Sales Updates/Hotnews
  • Cluster Central Future Sell-In (Timings, Cut Offs, etc.)
  • CSD/E-Com
  • VK-Start documents Sales
  • Sharepoint, Dropbox
  • Preparation of detailed sales analyses, development of options and recommendations for action
  • Cross-divisional and cross-functional project management
  • Close and regular exchange with European organisation colleagues on topics in own area of responsibility (Trade Term Excellence, Future Sell-In, CSD, Ecom, etc.)
  • Preparation and presentation of current topics in the sales areas or other departments
  • Independently and on your own responsibility ensure and further develop the projects and processes for which you are responsible while complying with all legal and internal control-relevant KPIs
  • Attendance of regional sales meetings to conduct presentations and project-specific workshops as well as their follow-up
  • Introduction and development of own sales optimising tools and processes
  • Representing Sales in cross-functional projects
  • Compliance with defined interim targets within the sales development projects
Controlling
  • Measuring the progress of own KPIs
  • Compliance with defined interim targets within the sales development projects
  • Reporting to all superiors along the MIS guidelines incl. first line management
  • Monitoring of all reports

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
  • Advanced knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • German and English fluently
Required Education And Experience / Minimum Requirement
  • University degree
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in sales and marketing
  • Ideally field experience in the sporting goods industry and/or in project management
