Job Purpose:
Treasury Sales Manager for Digital Segment will have responsibility for building TTS product proposal and manage Digital Relationships in the country and Region, supporting the onboarding process of clients including building and maintaining Commercial Banking Digital customers’ portfolio.

The Treasury Sales Manager for Digital Segment is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for actively calling on clients in partnership with RMs to deepen relationships, proactively owning, responding to and anticipating future needs, challenges or risks, in addition to identifying and pursuing new clients aligned with CITI’s value proposition.
- Drives innovation on the solutions we provide clients while structuring deals to balance risk and reward.
- Serves as strategic advisor to RM and Client
- Shares knowledge with other sales consultants and junior staff
- Executes on strategic initiatives
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi’s policies / guidelines at all time
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Cash management and trade solutions are a core part of this strategy and will be a major revenue contributor to the country expansion. The Treasury Sales Manager for Digital Segment will be focused on working closely with Commercial Banking Relationship Managers (RM) to grow cash and trade revenues, leveraging Citi’s global network. With complex cash solutions capabilities and solution centric sales, CCB in Germany is looking to attract a sizeable number of new client relationships to the franchise.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate business degree
- Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships
Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of digital/technology market, customers, competition, local regulations,
- Good knowledge of corporate finance, FX, cash management and trade products are needed.
- Thorough understanding of banking products for Digital/Technology customers
- Extensive network in the Digital ecosystem in the country
- Experience in Commercial / Relationship Banking with international customers
- Ability to assess credit risk of Digital/Technology companies
Experience/Knowledge:
- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
Skills:
- Independent and well organized
- Strong business orientation and ability to react well under pressure to immediate business needs
- Strong focus on delivery
- Ability to turn concepts into actual solutions that can be delivered
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence decisions at all levels
- Strong analytical skills with a motivation to learn

- Experience in managing multiple project timelines and prioritizations
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and good presentation skills.
- Analytical thinking with integration skills is also required.
- Should have excellent selling skills and needs to be highly creative, initiative, flexible.
- Has to have excellent ability to pay attention to details, set priorities and work under pressure.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
