The Strategic Account Executive will be responsible for the following:
Industry Business Leader
- Lead with Industry - Building trusted relationships through engagements focused on driving the priorities for Government agencies and departments and showcasing how Microsoft technologies supports these priorities
- Increased trust-based relationships managed over digital media result in minimal negative impact due to the remote working environments.
- Bring the best combined team to deliver the customers’ desired outcomes
Relationship
- Long-term, trust-based relationships with the technology executives resulting in customer-requested engagements and CIO/CTO/CDO career growth
- Deep Public Sector and technology credibility with the customer across a broad range of topics resulting in desired ACR/ACU growth, customer satisfaction indicators, PS community presence
- An aligned and motivated technology v-team across customer, partner and Microsoft towards building the resilient PS technical architecture
- Develop landing plan including field onboarding, partner disclosure, readiness, and execution
- Ensure subsidiary business owners of transformation pillars (commerce, co-sell, membership) incorporate changes within their respective planning and execution for positive business outcomes
- Determine core transformation stakeholders, define R&R, scope and role criteria and accountabilities
- Create disclosure and onboarding/transition plans to prioritize efforts with stakeholders, partner account teams, support, operations
- Drive attainment of local subsidiary change mgt KPIs/scorecard results
- Participate within the partner transformation community, share learnings, best practice
Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:
- Significant years of building strategic business partnerships through selling or consulting with Public Sector customers. Equally considered will be several years of experience driving digital transformation from within the public sector
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience
- Studies or extensive experience in the fields of agriculture, environment, weather or climate.
- Experience to lead multi-cultural, diverse and remote teams across different disciplines
- Proven ability to understand customer needs, create and deliver customized, customer-focused pitches and solutions
- Effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexities related to client management
- Embody "we-before-me" mindset
- Solid knowledge of one industry required (i.e. Government)
- Strategy development with multi-phase execution and delivery
- Background in large-scale, multi-year enterprise change management
- Executive communications, engagement and influence
- Knowledgeable of the Microsoft partner ecosystem and programs
