Purpose:
Manage and deliver projects for the HR function and act as strategic advisor for people elements of cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understanding interdependencies between technology, operations, and business requirements; escalation of dependency problems and joint development of solutions
  • Creating transparency of key initiatives within project stakeholders (e.g., about project goals, benefits, status quo compared to the original roadmap, resource constraints, etc.)
  • Ensure the availability of financial, material, and human resources necessary for the resources required for the successful completion of a project
  • Provide solutions that meet the set objectives and satisfy the business requirements
  • Manage the execution and completion of the defined project plan through effectively managing people, resources, and budget
  • Develop internal communication strategies that ensure communication between different departments of an organization
  • Monitor project variables (cost, effort, scope, etc.) against the project plan in order to implement corrective or preventive actions
  • Manage all aspects of a project, including its planning, communication, risk assessment and resources
  • Lead and direct the members of the project team to ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and guidelines for the proper execution of the project
  • Ensure availability and allocation of resources
  • Evaluate the progress of the project to identify constraints or errors to find solutions for a more efficient process
  • Establish risk management to minimize and mitigate project risks; report to sponsors and escalate as necessary
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Ensure compliance with project management standards, e.g., PM Methodology
  • Establishment and implementation of project steering and presentation of the project status to the steering committee and other relevant stakeholders
  • Receive requests and assess the need for new initiatives, support from idea generation to scoping management
  • Conducting feasibility studies and overseeing the selection of suppliers

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional project teams from concept through to implementation, ideally at an international level
  • Proven leader with experience in managing people and projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills; demonstrate ability to apply project management principles and methods in finding solutions to project problems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization
  • Creative mind with the ability to tell stories; able to develop effective communication materials to support change management activities
  • Ability to see the strategic big picture while breaking down complexity into actionable steps
  • Strong strategic and tactical skills with the ability to focus on the details
  • Excellent implementation skills

  • Experience in working with different cultures; global thinking
  • International, cross-functional, and intercultural experience

  • Fluent in English; ideally also in other languages

Requisite Education and Experience:
  • University or accredited college degree
  • Project management certification or proven project management skills and experience
  • 6-8 years of professional experience in the fast-moving consumer goods industry and/or Consulting experience
  • Track record in project management and change management, preferably at a global level in HR
