As a Head of Customer Fulfillment Development (w/m/d) - FR, IT & ES, you will define and shape the future of Zalando’s last mile convenience for our customers. This role will initiate the step change of aligning strategically between Customer Fulfillment and the commercial Markets teams. You will be a key player for creating the next generation of truly innovative and convenient delivery, return, and fulfillment options and capabilities for Zalando customers.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED

  • Build a comprehensive understanding of customer and market requirements through market research and data analysis
  • Work together with business, product, and engineering teams to ideate and coordinate the creation of customer-facing, highly scalable solutions and to build products that will shape the next generation of convenient delivery, return, and fulfillment processes for Zalando to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Help drive our vision of the most flexible and scalable systems and bring it to life by leading products and projects that are crucial for driving last mile innovations for Zalando
  • Learn from teams and collaborate with stakeholders to build a strong multi-year vision for your markets and ensure that customer fulfillment solutions will scale to support Zalando’s growth
  • Build a close relationship with senior stakeholders across different business units to bridge the gap between business, operations and technology

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • An experienced, data-driven and collaborative business leader with a strong growth mindset and focus on customer experience.
  • A track record of successfully implemented strategies, including experience of understanding market requirements through market research and data analysis. Experience in logistics domain would be a big plus
  • Local expertise in the target markets - deep understanding of customer requirements and expectations Solid experience in leading and developing people to enable them to grow and go beyond their expectations (hiring a team is planned)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams, align goals and deliverables and drive overall success, independent of organizational boundaries
  • A person who has owned the long- and medium-term vision and development roadmap for products with strong focus on product delivery and KPI-based management
