What you’ll do
- End-to-end business development for data partners, with the initial focus on retailers
- Identification and qualification – where is the best strategic fit and where can TTD bring the most value to partners
- Value proposition and business casing – why should partners work with TTD
- Contracting and negotiation – handle objections and answer questions to the best solution for the partner and TTD
- Ongoing support and relationship management - build success metrics for partnerships and track success against those KPIs
- Identify and lead new opportunities to grow TTD’s relationship with data partners once signed
- Support sales enablement team with promotion of data partnerships
- Join meetings and support on RFIs/RFPs being lead by the sales enablement team promoting the data partner’s data with TTD’s clients
- Act as escalation point for the data partners relationship with TTD
- Cross-functional collaboration to develop TTD’s proposition to data partners, with particular focus on retailers’ needs
- Perform industry research and analysis; remain abreast of trends and partner product/segment enhancements, and educate internal teams on the need-to-know with webinars, client support, and training documentation
- Collaborate with Product Marketing on strategic initiatives for promoting data usage.
- Collaborate with Product Management on platform feature support
- Provide input into retail partnership strategy based on industry knowledge & partner opportunities
- Maintain regular communications and checkpoints with management and with partners to report on status and future opportunities
Who you are
- Ideally 7+ years of experience in either a shopper marketing/retail media role at a retailer, or a media role at a shopper marketing/retail media agency or platform
- Self-motivated problem-solver comfortable with developling new commercial strategies to achieve business goals (e.g. sales narrative, collateral, go-to-market)
- Expertise in Shopper Marketing and Retail Media
- Proven track record of Selling retail media or shopper marketing solutions to a retailer or advertiser/supplier with six to seven figure contract value.
- Managing a pipeline of dozens of sales prospects in different stages of multi-month month sales cycle
- Working cross-functionally to progress deals – legal, finance and product
- Deep engagement with contracting process with retailers or advertisers/suppliers, including data governance
- Ability to act as a “trusted advisor” leveraging negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial outcomesComfort with fast-paced, dynamic working environment with shifting priorities
- Deep understand of the retail landscape in EU – what are the key needs, challenges and objectives for retailers
