We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer Kotlin/Java - Payment, Fintech (all genders) to join our FinTech team and build worldwide innovative Payment, Wallet and Anti-Fraud solutions with us. Hundreds of software and hardware subsystems, varied networks & protocols, stringent regulations, bullet-proof privacy & security measures, keeping creative fraudsters at bay, clarity under chaos, impatient producers and bottlenecks. All in a few tens of milliseconds, to light a smile in a user. In the Global Payments Team, that is what we are building for millions of users across the globe in Delivery Hero, Fintech!

Your mission

• Join the Payment, Wallet or Fraud Detection Team and build worldwide innovative Fintech solutions with strong focus on quality and scalability.

• Design and implement cutting-edge Fintech applications which will transform the delivery industry

• Craft and maintain world-class, high traffic services and APIs in a team of experienced software engineers

• Participate in code reviews and application debugging and diagnosis

• Practice modern software development methodologies such as Continuous Delivery, TDD and Scrum

• Be an active partner for Product management in order to provide the best value for stakeholders and our customers

Your heroic skills

• Practical experience as Backend Developer in Kotlin, Java or JVM based languages (Scala, Clojure, Groovy, JRuby)

• Profound knowledge and working experience with Frameworks such as Spring, Vertx, Play or similar

• Comfortable designing microservices architectures, API-based and event-based communication

• Passion for clean and beautiful code with an eye for simplicity and pragmatism

• Practical experience with Design Patterns, Design Principles, Software Architecture, Algorithms and automated tests (unit, integration and functional)

• Curious, eager to constantly learn and improve and not afraid to jump into new things

• Strong belief in in lean and agile development

Nice to have

• Experience working in a Payments team or Fintech industry

• AWS, Kubernetes and Postgres Knowledge
