Your future team

A highly international group consisting of 8 developers, 1 QA and 1 ​Product ​Manager representing 9 nationalities.
As a Product Manager you will lead a development team responsible for Holidu group financial processes and ERP integration, implementing tools and solutions for internal business units to accomplish their goals more effectively like accounting monthly and yearly audits and reviews.
Together with other Product Managers you will provide the best experience for our colleagues, partners and travelers.

Our Tech Stack

• Backend applications written in Java 11 and Kotlin (with Spring Boot).
• Deployed as microservices on AWS hosted Kubernetes cluster (EKS).
• Event-driven communication between services through ActiveMQ.
• Usage of a diverse set of technologies depending on the use case such as PostgreSQL, SQS, S3, Redis, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and many more.
• Monitoring with Grafana, Prometheus, ELK and CloudWatch.
• Internal and external web applications written with ReactJS.

Your role in this journey

• Manage an engineering team responsible for ensuring all financial accounting processes work reliably, scalable and secured.
• Interface with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders (e.g. finance, consumer facing, customer happiness team) to identify the most value adding opportunities and translate them into product requirements.
• Conceptualize new solutions, develop them with your engineering team, and deliver them successfully and monitor their impact.
• Understand technical problems, finding solutions, and efficiently solving them.
• Effectively translate business strategies into product strategies, specifications, and roadmaps.
• Organize tasks and manage technical requirements in collaboration with your engineering team.
• Analyze data to ensure the impact and the results of new product features are measured in a meaningful way.
• Prioritize tasks to enable the team to both achieve short and long-term objectives.

Your backpack is filled with

• A university degree in economics, business informatics, financial technology, industrial engineering, or related STEM fields.
• Experience as product manager with accounting and bookkeeping processes and concepts (a plus).
• Strong technical understanding and first experiences with some programming languages.
• Experience with working with ERP system integrations (SAP as a plus).
• Combination of a strong analytical mindset with a love for data and technology.
• You have strong communication skills to manage complex projects with different stakeholders.
