MARKETING ASSISTANT DACH (m/f)

THE OPPORTUNITY
The Marketing Assistant – DACH will be responsible for supporting and executing our marketing strategy in Germany and also supporting Switzerland, Austria & Eastern European countries, working closely with the Senior Field Marketing Manager DACH but also with the EMEA and global marketing teams and with our local sales, SDR & Alliance teams to ensure we achieve our pipeline and sales objectives while building the Ivalua brand in the region. The role reports directly to the EMEA Marketing Director. The right candidate will be proactive, organised, and eager to learn.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
This is a multi-faceted role, with the following key responsibilities
- Assist the Field Marketing Manager DACH in coordinating various integrated communication and marketing activities in Germany, Switzerland, Austria & CEE
- Support, coordinate & execute the regional marketing plan, incorporating global and local campaigns to achieve pipeline, sales, and brand awareness objectives.
- Help executing campaigns locally using multiple tactics and channels (i.e., social, email, webinars, events, ABM…)
- Support local digital and in-person events logistics (pre/post event and during the event when needed)
- Coordinate localization of global assets and local asset development by ensuring translation in German & providing brief to the design team when needed.
- Participate in developing / maintaining our local website by ensuring a good level of translation, creating new landing pages when needed & updating with our latest news & assets. Help in optimizing the SEO.
- Conduct follow-up leads on Hubspot and coordinate with the SDR team
- Assist with effective reporting, including tracking ROI, pipeline and campaigns metrics.
Travel
No regular business travel required. IF so, travel is primarily local during the business day, although some our-ot-the area and overnight travel may be expected (mostly to attend internal EMEA Marketing meetings).
YOUR PROFILE
If you have the below experience and strengths this role could be for you:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
- 1-2 years’ marketing experience as a marketing coordinator or similar role in B2B (in an IT or SaaS company a plus)
- Native German language skills a must
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams Sales/SDR/Alliance teams and external stakeholders (providers and partners)
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite
- Business proficiency in English is a must.
- French language competence a plus
- Hubspot experience a plus
- ABM experience a plus
- Domain expertise in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Spend management, sourcing, contract management, eProcurement, eInvoicing, Spend Analytics, Direct Procurement MRP/ERP, Services procurement, Supplier Master Data management domains
1 year contract which may open to a permanent contract
