Your Role

As a Global Sea Freight & Expansion Intern (f/m/d) you will support the Team with the European expansion and also regional projects which can include Sea Freight as well as Intermodal topics. You will take ownership of topics and projects which are important for the growth in the European market and also the improvement of already existing processes and businesses.

You will
  • Contribute to drive projects that span across multiple departments with the focus on efficiency, growth and scalability
  • Support to improve Sea Freight or Intermodal driven projects and procedures with your knowledge and insights
  • Be part of the daily improvement for our expansion countries and also assist in documentation and procedures to give input for new upcoming expansion countries
  • Take care of new business models or projects which are in the pipeline and build it up in your way to make it happen
  • Support in escalations between one or multiple departments and focus on solving them with a high level of confidence and positive outcome

What You Bring
  • You have previous knowledge and ideally already practical experience in the field of logistics - ideally in Sea Freight and/or Maritime shipping
  • You possess a structured, independent and diligent working manner
  • You have a strong sense of ownership for your tasks, are willing to go the "extra mile" and make progress as part of the team
  • You are not afraid of taking responsibility on important and high level tasks with a big commercial impact
  • You are fluent in English, German is a huge plus
  • You are available for 6 months
