仕事内容

We are looking for a creative and multitalented intern (m/f/d) for the areas of hardware R&D, industrial design, product development, mechatronics and manufacturing.

Must-Have Requirement: 6+ months mandatory internship

Tasks
  • Designing, developing and optimizing innovative "smart kiosks", embedded products, mechanical and electronic hardware in the IoT environment
  • You support your colleagues from the hardware R&D and production department in the day-to-day business
  • You work on existing concepts and new designs of components and product prototypes
  • Working on 3D designs, specifications of components, 3D printing, prototyping, assembly of electrical/mechanical components, testing, technical documentation and finalizing for mass production
  • Evaluating product safety, appearance, and function to comply with requirements and certification
  • Examining materials and manufacturing requirements for QA and determining production costs
  • Researching and selecting of suitable suppliers for key components

Requirements
  • Proficient in Design Software (Photoshop, Solidworks, etc.)
  • Experience in Industrial Design (that you can demonstrate in a portfolio of your work)
  • Studies in industrial design, engineering, electrical engineering or mechatronics
  • Structured and independent way of working
  • Passion for innovative technologies and digital, future-oriented business models coupled with a hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
