The Company:

A global leading provider for solar photovoltaic module and battery storage systems. Significant investment into regional expansion and the increasing focus on key clients has created the need to appoint a Sales Director to accelerate the business plan in Europe.

The Role:

The role will have responsibility for developing and leading relationships with Key clients for residential, industrial, commercial and utility clients.

Some duties would include:

  • Lead relationships with Electrical Utilities, C&I and Renewable energy clients and develop market expansion strategy plan.
  • Build, develop and lead relationships from engineer up to CEO level, using existing network.
  • Manage channel partners and distributors to identify tenders and influence
  • Identify opportunities for pilot projects to convert to frame contract
  • Participate in technical and commercial negotiations and pricing

The Person

The successful candidate will likely have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years leadership experience selling Solar PV or Battery Storage equipment for Utility Scale and C&I projects.
  • Proven experience in selling products and solutions for PV system design and Technology specification.
  • An extensive network within target clients and senior management teams
  • Be able to solve complex problems, Engage customers, motivate and inspire teams to success.
  • Speak German, English
