Customer Operations Associate - Trading(f/m/d)
It is an amazing time to be joining xChange as we continue to transform container logistics around the world. We have grown to over 800 paid memberships in over 2500 locations – ramping it up to 5000 customers by 2022.
As our Customer Operations Associate, in the trading team, you will make buying and selling containers on the xChange Trading Marketplace a world-class experience!
You’ll be joining a Series A scale-up with ambitious ramp-up plans! Hence, our ideal candidate is someone that thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, takes full ownership, creates seamless operational and activation services, and scales customer success processes.
Your responsibilities in a nutshell
- Follow up on trading negotiations on our platform and make our customers as successful as possible
- Provide support for customers regarding inquiries via Zendesk, e-mail or phone
- Proactively prevent operational problems for our customers during negotiations (eg. wrong negotiation details, missing images). – ultimately make sure their negotiation experience is as nice as possible
- Continuously build up a knowledge base of how to best reach certain users
- Work closely with the product team and make feature suggestions on how to improve the negotiation experience on our platform
What we’re looking for
- You have professional experience in logistics, customer support or business development
- You have excellent communication skills – you enjoy day-to-day customer communication and are not afraid to pick up the phone
- You are proactive, persistent, and diligent in all your tasks – you have a strong desire to take ownership of your tasks
- You have an output-oriented problem-solving personality – you are passionate about our mission and want to disrupt an entire industry with us
- Fluency in English – any other language would be super nice but is no must-have
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) – SQL knowledge is an advantage
