Job Purpose

The Commercial Excellence Manager´s primary objective is helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
Responsibilities:
General
  • Maintain and update in-market sales reports
  • Gather data intelligence and providing insight to identify business opportunities
  • Creation and maintenance of product brand books with marketing department
  • Analyze and monitor market dynamics, gather and interpret financial data
  • Correlation analysis
  • Responsible for Germany in-market sales analytics and presentation to internal departments
  • Sourcing/negotiations on data sources
  • ROI analysis
  • Skilled business analysts also use requirement to drive the design or review of test cases, process change requests, and manage a project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment
CRM Management
  • Data support regarding customer and user data, field service structures and activity data
  • Analysis of existing processes in cooperation with the business units to determine requirements for optimizing Salesforce / Veeva functionalities
  • Maximizing the data quality, especially about customer master and activity data
  • Further development of the system with the help of user acceptance testing
  • Maintenance and further development of the existing reporting
  • Contact person for technical and content-related questions about CRM (1st level support) as well as for the system interfaces (One Key interface, etc.)
  • Support with training on system developments or during the on-boarding of new employees
  • Interface between local business and global technical experts as well as external cooperation partners

BI management
  • Data support regarding different sales data sources and activity information in cooperation with the data owners
  • Local contact for in-depth technical and content-related questions about MS PowerBI (2nd level support)
  • Further development of the system from the determination of requirements to the roll-out
  • Interface between local business and global technical experts
Maintain Compliance
  • Abide by the requirements of the Codex Code of Practice including but not restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct, in line with the company procedures with a duty of care to the reputation of the company and the industry.
  • Adherence of Compliance Guidelines as well as AKG e. V. (Pharma Code Association Drugs and Cooperation) Pharma Code without exception
  • Immediate reporting of any suspected or noticed infringement of Compliance Regulations to management or Compliance Officer
Qualifications:
  • Analytical thinking, experience in forecasting, understanding of finance would be very good
  • Analytical skills and high level of computer literacy and numeracy
  • Expert knowledge MS Office, in particular Excel including VBA knowledge, cross tables, and Power Pivot
  • Experience of analysis tools
  • Forecasting and or financial modelling experience
  • Very good knowledge of CRM systems (Veeva, Salesforce.com, SAP CRM, Nexxus CRM or comparable)
  • SQL / basic programming
  • Very good experience in project management in interdisciplinary areas
  • Business case development
  • Modelling techniques and methods
  • Leadership
  • Implement advanced strategies for gathering, reviewing, and analysing data requirements
  • Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
  • Master strategic business process modelling, traceability, and quality management techniques
  • Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of system applications, admin experience via databases etc.
  • Knowledge database queries and data modelling, especially reporting
  • Written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills
  • English in spoken and written
  • Knowledge in the training of system applications
  • Knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
