Summary:

The work schedule for this position is:

Duties

The job holder serves as budget analyst and financial advisor for the United States Department of Commerce, United States and Foreign Commercial Service. As such, they perform a range of financial management responsibilities including obligations, liquidations, and reconciliation for agency programs. The job holder is responsible for development, analysis and control of funds including Operating and Administration and Deposit Funds. Manages and executes all agency operational; and event budgets and is responsible for the preparation or provision of post’s input for all prescribed and requested financial reports and inquiries. Also provides office administrative support in areas of procurement, travel, and property management.

Minimum of six (6) years’ experience in business, government, or industry association in administrative management with emphasis on budget, accounting or finance is required.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Germany may receive a compensation package that includes German social security benefits, and other benefits as defined in the local compensation plan including German as well as U.S. federal holidays, 30 days of annual leave, overtime compensation either via compensatory time off or paid overtime.


For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources (HR) Office.


The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
