Interested? Then we will look forward to meeting you!Your taskFor our new OT SOC Team at Uniper we are looking for a Team Lead with the following responsibilities:



  • Lead and develop an OT Security Operations Center (SOC) at Uniper.
  • Act as trusted advisor to leadership and technical operational teams using common technical and non-technical terms.
  • Advise and support of local staff in matters concerning cybersecurity at our Power Stations, Gas Storages etc.
  • Development of interfaces and processes to other security organisations at Uniper.
  • Improvement of our security toolbox by continuous review and improvement of detection and alerting systems monitoring our operational technology (OT).
  • Management of vulnerabilities, security events and incidents (including analysis, response, reporting etc.) over their whole lifecycle.
  • Development and implementation of new rules, use cases and attack models for our industrial control systems (ICS) based on industry best practices (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK Matrix).
  • Participation in an on-call duty.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and abroad.
Your profile



  • Successfully completed studies in computer science, engineering or a comparable qualification, ideally with focus on cybersecurity.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of cybersecurity.
  • Experience successfully leading cyber security teams.
  • Solid work experience with OT systems (e.g., SCADA, DCS, PLCs) and industrial networks ideally gained at a company which operates critical infrastructure.
  • Professional certification in IT security (e.g., TISP, CISSP, GIAC, CEH, IEC62443, ISO27001 or others) desirable.
  • Knowledge of relevant security best practices (e.g., CIS Controls, OWASP, NIST, NERC CIP).
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
