Product Manager - Routing Optimization, Logistics (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Product Manager (f/m/d)to join our Logistics team to help us create a fast, reliable, and transparent delivery experience for our customers around the world. You will be responsible for products that connect riders and restaurants to hundreds of thousands of customers every day.

As a Product Manager (f/m/d) you will have the opportunity to shape the future of delivery within the optimization domain. This role will be leading the Routing Optimization squad which is responsible for solving the vehicle routing problem (VRP) for millions of orders per day. Moreover, you will be responsible for kick-starting Delivery Hero’s growth into new verticals such as d-marts, groceries, and delivering anything.

Your mission:

• Build a strong vision, mission, and product strategy.

• Identify the biggest problems to solve. Drive new feature development from start to finish.

• Prioritize and manage the work of a development team in tandem with a tech lead.

• Manage expectations of stakeholders from 50+ countries and be transparent on progress and priorities.

• Ensure strong collaboration and communication across the company and build consensus on the product roadmap.

• Identify the biggest problems to solve. Drive new feature development from start to finish.

• Stay updated on current trends, innovation, and competition in a fast-paced environment.

• Incorporate both quantitative data as well as market research/qualitative data into the product life cycle (from ideation to launch and post-assessment).

• Work with cross-functional teams such as design and analytic(s) teams to run user research, data-driven experiments, and usability studies to inform your product’s direction.

Your Heroic Skills:

Must have

• 3+ years of experience in product management with a proven history of delivering results

• Track record of successfully launching and constantly improving innovative products.

• Data-driven professional with strong business acumen, analytical understanding & problem-solving skills

• Previous experience in an algorithmic or simulation domain(s) is a big plus

• Proven ability to articulate complex and nuanced insights to a wide variety of stakeholders

• Ability to balance user needs with business priorities and provide a rationale behind your decisions

• Exceptional interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills

• Fluent English

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Data Science or similar fields.

• Coding experience in SQL or another language

• Experience in the Logistics industry
