Your role at zolar

As a Junior IT Admin / Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d), you will actively support zolar in its growth and ensure that all employees are satisfied with the technical equipment and infrastructure. In this role, you are part of the Technical Services team, which takes care of all technical issues of colleagues and thus supports the company in working smoothly in the office as well as in the home office. You take over the following tasks at zolar:

• From the beginning, you will support all new employees in onboarding and ensure that everyone receives their hardware - whether in Berlin or remotely - on time for the start.
• With our internal guidelines in mind, you will procure hardware and provide support throughout the ordering process.
• You take care of the user setup and documentation of our SaaS environment in the Microsoft environment and support in the setup and maintenance of our network infrastructure.
• The setup, installation and maintenance of our IT hardware, the management of user rights and the administration of Windows and Mac operating systems are part of your daily business.
• Good documentation of instructions and processes is just as important to you as proactively asking for support or researching to find solutions that are not immediately obvious.

Your qualifications

• You have a degree or completed vocational training, preferably in the field of computer science or system administration.
• You enjoy helping people and creating a great IT infrastructure.
• You are interested in and have basic knowledge in the areas of IT, software and hardware.
• Plus: Initial experience as a system administrator or in IT support, preferably in the area of Microsoft O365.
• You have a high degree of personal responsibility and initiative.
• You speak German and English at least on level B2.
