We are looking for a Program Director to drive industry strategy formulation and activation for the Industry Solutions Strategy, Alliances & M&A Team all to fulfill the needs of our customers and to support the mission of Microsoft.

Within Industry Solutions, theStrategy, Alliances & M&A teamdevelops growth strategies founded on customer needs and industry-orientation and drives strategic initiatives involving partner strategy and inorganic moves (acquisitions, alliances, and investments.)

Responsibilities
  • Drive growth strategies with industries, service lines and geographies related to cloud driven industry transformation.
  • Identify industry trends, themes and turn into narratives.
  • Work with business leaders on new market offerings, solution and service partner ecosystems.
  • Assessment of strategic and quantitative business opportunities.
  • Data driven assessment of partnership impact.
  • Identification of sales and pricing strategies
  • Development of multi-year financial growth and investment plans
  • Working on and driving build-or-buy strategies
  • Operating model design for new capabilities

Qualifications
  • Significant experience in growth strategies in a cloud technology or professional services firm with strong management consulting background.
  • MSc, MBA or similar in Business Administration or Strategy preferred.
  • Strong analytical background, strategic mindset, creative thinking.
  • Ability to define, formulate and drive strategy.
  • Experience in working with senior business leaders
  • Experience in working with strategic advisory firms
  • Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity, complex environments, project management and strategic programs.
Experience and ability to work across geographies and in an international, multi-cultural environment.
