We have an exciting opportunity for someone with an ambitious and progressive mindset to join the Commercial Finance (Performance Management) team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a Finance background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, whilst having great opportunities to collaborate with stakeholders across the wider business. Working as part of a dynamic, high performing team, the Commercial Finance Manager (AKA) is ensuring sustainable growth and profitable business decisions by providing guidelines and insights. You will support in the development of the team and have a great opportunity to progress within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales Directors to support submissions of robust and reliable financial forecasts aligning commentary, assumptions and risks and opportunities.
  • Lead the Sales and Operations Planning meetings to drive conversion of the order book by working cross-functionally and ensuring clear actions are defined and carried out.
  • Business Partner with the wider sales teams to support with financial modelling and decision making.
  • Full P&L responsibility for account specific P&L’s requiring regular net sales, sales discount and margin forecasting and collaboration and oversight of Marketing Expenses and Operating Overheads.
  • Balance Sheet responsibility to ensure accurate provisions and accruals are captured timely as part of month end tracking and close.
  • Develop Reporting tools through Power BI to support efficient provision of information to Management and cross-functionally.
  • Drive efficiencies and process alignment across the AKA portfolio
  • Continue to grow the high-performance culture, whilst promoting an inclusive environment.
  • Be a strong team player and have a willingness to build excellent relationships across both the finance team, and the wider business.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Very good communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Ability to think beyond the obvious and challenging mindset
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Advanced skills in MS Office
  • Power BI
  • A highly collaborate team player

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • University degree in business administration / finance / controlling / accounting
  • Strong commercial awareness with knowledge of retail and / or business controlling
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA/CPA) (preferable)
