We’re the makers of the Mobility goFLUX apps (Android, iOS and web) and currently moving all development in-house. For that we’re looking for an experienced backend developer (all gender) to join us.

Tasks

The ideal candidate will help us to build, maintain, and troubleshoot the company’s rapidly expanding infrastructure. He/she will work alongside other engineers to ensure highest levels of performance and ability, and manage any problems that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Develop backend cloudbased system on AWS and Java
  • Test and maintain operation systems
  • Monitor application performance
Requirements

Our tech stack

  • The backend is a Spring Boot application, written in Java
  • We’re using Postgres, and host our services on AWS
  • Our current toolset includes Jira, GitLab, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins & GitLab CI
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Multiple years of experience in developing and operating cloud based services
  • Enthusiasm for clean code, test automation, CI/CD, and a strong DevOps mindset
  • Passion for UX-driven, agile product development
Benefits

As a team with international members, we use English for our day-to-day communication. We typically meet twice per week in our office in Cologne and work remotely otherwise.
