IT Delivery Lead- Marketing, Sales & Service Solutions
What to expect:
  • To ensure that roadmaps strike the right balance between business delivery, technology enablement, and operations work in terms of scope, timeline, and budget, collaborate with the technical lead (e.g., Solution Architect, IT Project Lead), the "voice of the customer" (e.g., Product Owner, Business Relationship Manager), and the central IT portfolio management.
  • Make advantage of a solid grasp of market trends and user journeys, hold teams accountable for continuously defining and prioritising the work they deliver, and make sure the application and project roadmap is being followed.
  • Oversee the delivery team’s tactical and strategic elements, making ensuring all financial, risk, legal, security, and other compliance needs are met.
  • Increase the flow of value produced, rigorously measure, remove obstacles, and make sure a metrics-focused strategy is used to assess performance and goal achievement.
  • Assure effective offshore delivery and supplier performance.
  • Share knowledge on software delivery techniques, agile principles and methodologies, project management techniques, and industry best practises to increase productivity.
  • Motivate, develop, and evaluate team members so that their performance is at the required level and satisfies the business’s present and future needs

Personal Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computer or business field (or equivalent and related experience preferred)
  • Long-standing experience in IT application and solution delivery and in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in Salesforce technology mandatory
  • Certification in agile methodologies, Salesforce and / or SAP is desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of Marketing, Sales and Service processes, key performance indicators, best-in-class practices, business and technology trends
  • Work experience in the IT environment with a broad understanding of a wide variety of applications and technical capabilities, and how those varied solutions can support the organization’s strategic goals
  • Experience in project / product / platform management
  • Broad understanding of IT topics (e.g., cloud products and platforms, micro-service architectures, automation and API integration)
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with others, providing challenge where required – working with Product Team members, other stakeholders and 3rd parties
  • Ability to supervise management of key delivery / service providers and act as the point of issue escalation
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English – both written and spoken with demonstrated ability to communicate analysis and status clearly and appropriate dependent on the respective recipient (e.g., Low / Middle / Senior-Management, non-technical stakeholders)
  • Additional language skills are a plus, particularly German
