Job Overview

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • D rive key strategic decisions based on prepared analysis and models
  • Responsibility for Service Level Segmentation of the Product Line and implementation
  • Lead the actions to optimize customer shipments based on identified biggest opportunities
  • Improve customer demand and internal forecast fluctuation
  • Define and implement required inventory structure in order to improve performance
  • Define and implement required supply solutions with critical suppliers
  • Lead the actions in order to fulfill the customer requirements regarding delivery performance
  • Lead the actions regarding capacity bottlenecks improvements
  • Together with Warehouse and Transportation improve the delivery and costs performance
  • Track the realized savings and impacts, and communicate results with leaders
  • Travel to affected TE sites and Supplier on a regular base to ensure close tracking and action implementation
What Your Background Should Look Like
  • Masters degree, preferably in logistics/supply chain or Project Mgmt
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in Operations, preferably in Supply Chain related functions
  • Experience in Project Management
  • Proven project management experience
  • Track record in managing cross-functional teams and driving transformation on an international scale
  • Experience in international environment and automotive sector is an advantage
  • Know-how in Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance related fields
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Conceptual and problem-solving skills, pragmatic approach (80/20)
  • Leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams
  • Strong system knowledge of Supply Chain related systems
  • Good communication skills, able to train people on new processes
  • Solid in German and English, both written and spoke
