We have an exciting opportunity for an Office Manager and Financial Administratorto join ABL Group in Hamburg, Germany. If you are an accounting professional and solution-oriented with an eye for detail, then this could be you.


What you will be doing.


As our Office Manager and Financial Administrator , you will be responsible for supporting, organizing and coordinating office operations as well as local finance and accounting activities in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency for the business.
In this varied role, you will not only take a lead on office management, but also play a pivotal role in assisting with the organization’s administrative and financial duties, including admin-related duties, facilities, and coordination with ABL offices worldwide.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Be proactive, roll up the sleeves and get involved in the daily work.
Manage and organize general office related tasks.

Assist project managers to issue invoices in a timely and professional
manner and maintain cash collection from clients.

Maintain clear records on office and project expenses by managing incoming / outgoing invoices.

Assist the technical team with usual admin tasks such as tender management, QA review of technical reports, keeping templates up to date, data entry to CRM and ERP portals etc.

Be part of the project “Document Control” team to manage incoming and outgoing technical documents.
Carry out any other ad-hoc tasks and job-related duties as assigned.
The role is based in Hamburg, Germany and the incumbent needs to have the right to work and reside in Germany.
Flexibility to work hours out with the usual working hours from time to time to meet the demands of financial reporting.


What we are looking for.


We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate who demonstrates financial and office management skills with a strong attitude to work and adapts to a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and proactive in managing a varied workload.

In addition, you should have:
Degree or relevant experience in accounting and finance would be an advantage but are not a must
At least 5 year’s relevant and acceptable work experience in an Administrative / Office work environment.
Good IT skills working comfortably with different systems and software (MS Office, ERP)

Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization both autonomously as well as part of the team.

Proactive, a clear and creative thinker with “get it done” approach.

Experience of managing general office tasks as well as assisting technical and management team is desired.

Able to effectively cope with the workload through planning and prioritizing.

Should have strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and German.
