The posting refers to the project phase to ensure Day 1 readiness of DTFS GmbH on December 1st. Interest in joining the new organization and continuing the task in the future DTFS GmbH is a prerequisite.

The department Credit Risk Management at future DTFS HQ provides and maintains standardized methods and processes for credit risk reserve setting in accordance with IFRS 9 and is responsible for the monthly calculation of credit risk reserves, for risk steering and reporting for all DTFS entities. Furthermore, the department is responsible for rating and scoring models, processes and systems. In addition, the department hosts several policies, prepares BoM deals and ensures their quality. The further development and implementation of systems, methods and databases as a prerequisite for a standardized and digitized target picture will be main activities in the department.

Tasks

As an Expert for Policies, Procedures & Credit Methods you develop and maintain the global Risk Management Policies of DTFS and you are contact for consultancy related to these rules. You are also supporting the prepartion and consolidation of credit files for the Board of Management of DTFS and DT and you are handling local products within the product database.

Your Tasks Will Be
  • Setup, development and adaption of the global Risk Management Policies at DTFS (Credit Rules, Product Rules, Scoring and Rating Policy, Portfolio Analysis Policy and Risk Management Definition Catalogue)
  • Contact role for these policies supporting the correct implementation in the local entities also considering local regulatory and legal requirements
  • Performance of trainings related to the rules and policies
  • Risk analysis of credit and other requests (e.g. concentration risk) which require approval by the BoM of DTFS and / or other global (supervisory) authorities, performing of respective quality checks and consolidation of information
  • Usage of Product Database and handling of product requests from the local entities
  • Preparation of documents for global DTFS committees for information / approval / execution of tasks and decisions related to the rules, products and credit files
  • Networking with other departments and local entities within DTFS to ensure proper handling of needs and requirements and ensure fast reaction on changes in market needs or from supervisory functions
  • Ensuring and driving the transformation of DTFS to an efficient and flexible risk oriented service provider



Qualifications
  • Degree in Business Administration / Banking / Economics or comparable education
  • Working experience in risk management or credit operations within a financial services institution
  • Knowledge of credit risk analysis and risk related activities and regulations as well as data protection
  • Project management skills
  • Expertise in the preparation of board decision desks
  • As you are motivated to work in an international and multicultural environment, you master English in speaking and writing
  • German language skills are beneficial
  • Experience within DMO or experience in financing and/or leasing
  • You have strong communication and relationship building skills to engage with a range of stakeholders on all levels of organization
  • You have strong ability to work independently and you are responsible as well as self-driven
  • You enjoy working with big volume of data
  • You are motivated to achieve goals together with various stakeholders in an multicultural environment
