With MBOS and our Benchmark MBUX UI Software we are definining the next level of user interaction for our customers worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced leader of a newly established team with first highly motivated and skilled team members of software and CI/CD engineers to develop our next generation automated delivery piplines and Quality procesies for our ~300 globaly distributed UI software engineers.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Lead and establish Release Engineering Team in Sindelfingen/Germany (~8 direct reports)
  • Execute our MBUX strategy and enable UI Software development insourcing
  • Design our core MBUX UI Software CI/CD processes and drive ASpice compliance
  • Ensure final MBUX UI Software product delivery in quality together with all development teams and partners
  • Define the Way of Working and drive the implementation of the test strategy together with all UI SW development Teams
  • Together with your team and partners design, implement, and test your CI/CD foundation in the MBOS Software Factory
  • Lead an agile working model together with development teams in various time zones
  • Debug and analyze the performance and system resource usage of our build and delivery components
  • Coordination and steering of external partners including budget responsibly
  • Promotion of an open and innovative team culture



Qualifications

Minimum Skills Required:
  • Degree in software engineering, computational linguistics or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering or related field
  • Work experience in the field of embedded UI Software systems (C++, QT, …)
  • Familiar with modern software development processes (e.g. LeSS, SAFe, SCRUM)
  • Requires an in-depth knowledge and understanding of Branching, CI/CD, test automation technologies and cloud environments
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess in-depth negotiating, influencing and consulting skills
  • Must be able to develop solutions to a wide range of highly complex technical problems, which require an in depth degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation
  • Requires experience and ability to manage staff across multiple locations
  • Must possess conflict management and resolution skills
  • Entrepreneurial and product driven mindset
  • A reasonable amount of travel will be required (10-20%)
